Elgin Comets Youth Wrestling is a non-profit, volunteer-led wrestling program serving children in Kindergarten through 6th grade throughout the Elgin Local School District located in Marion, Ohio and surrounding areas.
Our mission is to provide young athletes with an affordable, encouraging, and high-quality introduction to the sport of wrestling. We believe in more than just wins and takedowns — our goal is to develop well-rounded athletes who carry confidence, grit, and respect into every part of their lives.
Whether your child is stepping on the mat for the first time or chasing state-level goals, our team of dedicated coaches is committed to helping each wrestler grow at their own pace in a positive and structured environment.

Elgin Comets Youth Wrestling exists to empower young athletes through the sport of wrestling by teaching discipline, confidence, perseverance, and respect — both on and off the mat.
We believe in building more than just champions on the mat — we’re committed to developing confident, resilient, and respectful young people who carry these values into every part of their lives.
Students in Kindergarten through 6th grade
