Option 1: League Team (COBYWA within OHWAY)  

Our main competitive team for wrestlers ready for structured weekly competition.

• Participation in the COBYWA league, part of OHWAY
  
  

• Compete in 5 Sunday league meets from December 27th, 2026  through  January 24th, 2027 followed by the North/South Championship on January 31st, 2027. Wrestlers who qualify at the North/South Championship will advance to the End-of-Year Championship on February 7th, 2027.

• Two practices per week, Mondays and Wednesdays, Group A 5:30pm-6:45pm. Group B 6:15pm-7:30pm. Group assignments to be announced after the first week of practice. For the first week, everyone will practice from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
  
  

• One registration fee covers all five regular season  league meets, the North/South Championship , and the End-of -Year Championship for qualifying wrestlers.  Wrestlers who advance to the State Championship will be responsible for additional  State  entry fees.
  
  

• Ideal for committed wrestlers who want structure, training, and team experience

• Cost of Registration is $110 ( $30 of that is refundable when the singlet is returned in servicable condition at the end of the season.) Registraion includes all league fees and a team T-shirt. Each wrestler will be issued a singlet for the season. If the singlet is not returned or is not returned in servicable condition, the $30 deposit will be kept to cover replacement costs. The $110 registraion fee must be paid in full by October 23rd, 2026.

Option 2: Open Tournament Team (à la carte) 

This is a flexible option for families who want regular training with the freedom to choose when to compete.

• Two practices per week, Mondays and Wednesdays, Group A 5:30pm-6:45pm. Group B 6:15pm-7:30pm. Group assignments to be announced after the first week of practice. For the first week, everyone will practice from 5:30pm-7:30pm. 

• Great for new wrestlers, multi-sport athletes, or busy families
  
  

• Families register and pay for open tournaments on their own.  The open team coach will attend select events to coach wrestlers whose families sign them up.
  
  

• Lower registration fee — families pay individual entry fees for each tournament they choose to enter.
  
  

• Cost of Registration is $20. Team T-shirts are optional and available for separate purchase. Wrestlers may request a team singlet for the season with a $30 refundable deposit. The deposit is refunded when the singlet is returned in serviceable condition at the end of the season.
